With every inch I step back,
more footing is seized.
The wood cries beneath me,
salt and sea scream below me.
But, on the wind He rides!
Alpha and Omega!
Calling out to the lost boys,
to you, to me.
"Draw your swords! Stand Firm!”
Enemy and Elohim encircle one another,
and with the gnashing of teeth and clanging of metal:
the ultimate war has begun.
While their battle persists
His children are drawn into the fray:
the armor as their shield
and the word of the Lord as their blade.
Pirates and brigands surround me,
threats of the evil one prowling my way.
Bated breath released,
as I take up the defense.
Brothers and sisters attack from the left!
I will cover from the right!
Eyes on the Creator in the interim!
Fighting under the Banner, “The Beginning and the End!”,
angels descend: wrapped in His glory.
Pirates flee in fear!
Meanwhile on the Roger,
Lord and Lucifer continue combat,
one of heaven and sheol.
Running through the ship’s decks,
overturning chairs and tables,
our Father’s aid teaches us:
bring darkness into the light.
He will not be overcome.
On the Roger still, the Lord’s garment begins to bleed red:
From His own?
No,
for His blood was bore on the cross.
It is the blood of the enemy,
whose helpless attempt to find higher ground:
results in the Lord quickly gaining.
His sword, the Word, burning bright -
a brilliant display of His life and light.
We did not defeat Captain Hook,
for He claimed victory on the first try.
Bene Forma.
